Trish

Owner & Executive Director

Miss Trish has been working with Vermont's children and their families since 1991. She holds a Vermont State Educator License with an endorsement in birth through age 5 as well as a Masters in Business Administration. She is a strong and passionate advocate for young children, their families, and the Early Childhood workforce.

Miss Trish lives in Essex with her husband, Paul. They have two grown sons.

Nicole

Program Director

Miss Nicole has been teaching young children since 2001, joining Children Unlimited in 2007. She received a bachelor's degree from Champlain College and is currently licensed in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She is passionate about early literacy and preparing children and their families for the transition to kindergarten. 

Miss Nicole lives in Williston with her husband, their three children, and many pets. She loves to spend time outdoors exploring nature with them.

Assistant Director

Miss Lindsey has been working with young children since joining the Children Unlimited team in 2002. She attended Champlain College with a concentration in Early Education. She loves when children make connections with the world around them and is a huge fan of sensory play. Lindsey enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

Assistant Director

Miss Anita has been working with young children since graduating Trinity College of Vermont in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education and Psychology. She has taught various age groups from infants to prekindergarten. Early childhood is and always has been not only a career but a passion in her life. She grew up in a small town in Vermont and currently lives in South Burlington with her two daughters.

Administrative Director

Miss Heather became part of the Children Unlimited family in 2011 when her oldest child entered the infant room. She joined the CU team in 2016 as Administrator where she puts her finance and customer service skills and experience to use. She earned her associate's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2022 and is currently working toward a degree in Business.

Miss Heather enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and doing puzzles.

Traveling Teacher

Miss Bekah joined the CU team in 2021. She attended Ohio State University, and has been working with children of all ages since 2010. Miss Bekah is passionate about forming strong connections with children and their families, and watching them grow. In her spare time she enjoys watercolor painting, astronomy, and reading. She currently lives in South Burlington with her family.

Explorer Teacher

Miss Emily has been part of the Children Unlimited team since 2017. She interned at CU while working on her degree from the Early Childhood Education program at the Center for Technology, Essex. She was a TEACH scholarship recipient and earned her associate's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2022. She lives with her family in Jericho.

Voyager Teacher

Miss Emily has been part of the Children Unlimited team since 2013. She interned at CU while working on her degree from the Early Childhood Education program at the Center for Technology, Essex. Miss Emily is a graduate of the Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program through the Vermont Child Care Industry & Careers Council.

Miss Emily lives with her family and 2 cats in Bristol.

Traveling Teacher

Miss Erin came to CU in 2022. She graduated from UVM with a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is continuing her education in UVM’s Master’s program to become a Speech Language Pathologist. She loves spending time outside in the warm weather and hanging out with her cat, Fil!

Explorer Teacher

Miss Erin has been a part of the Children Unlimited family since 2010, finding her place in the Explorer classroom in 2017. She graduated summa cum laude from Saint Michael’s College in 2012.

Miss Erin loves to learn and continues to expand her knowledge of early childhood education and child development.  She has a particular interest in nature-based learning and outdoor exploration. Miss Erin lives in Fairfax with her husband and their two Corgis.

Julie

Dreamer Teacher

Miss Julie is a 50 year veteran of early childhood education. Having come from a family of 9, she spent her early years helping raise her siblings. She has been loving and nurturing infants at Children Unlimited since 2007 and loves to be part of children's lives and watch them grow.

Miss Julie enjoys motorcycle rides with her husband and spending time with her children and 9 grandchildren.

Adventurer Teacher

Miss Kate has been a part of the Children Unlimited family since 2012. She is a graduate of the Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program and holds a Northern Lights Level III certificate. She has taught many age groups and loves being a part of each child's growth and development.

Miss Kate lives in Charlotte with her husband and two daughters.

Adventurer Teacher

Miss Kay has been a member of the CU family since 2015. She was a two-time TEACH Scholarship recipient, which has allowed her to earn her associate's degree from CCV in 2019, and her bachelor's degree and VT Educator license from Northern Vermont University-Lyndon in 2023. Miss Kay is passionate about teaching young children and fostering positive relationships with children so she can support them socially, emotionally, and academically.

In her spare time, Miss Kay loves to read, do arts and crafts, and go paddle boarding. She lives in Williston and loves to spend time outside with her dog, Millie.

Maggie

Discoverer Teacher

Miss Maggie has been a part of the Children Unlimited team since June 2021. She is pursuing an early childhood education degree. She has been working with young children for ten years starting with being a “mothers helper” and eventually going on to nannying. Starting in 2019, she worked at both public and private preschools and found her home at CU. Miss Maggie loves to connect with and support children as they grow. She lives in Essex with her parents, three cats and two dogs.

Miss Nancy joined CU in January of 2023, after moving to Vermont with her husband. She holds a BS degree from Susquehanna University. Although new to CU, she worked at the early childhood program attended by her 2 sons when they were young. Miss Nancy loves spending time with young children, most particularly her 2 granddaughters.

Support Staff

Miss Stephanie has been caring for young children at Children Unlimited for over 30 years. She is passionate about providing the best possible environment for kids to grow, play, and learn.  Miss Stephanie loves to read and spend time with family. She lives in Richmond.

Discoverer Teacher

Miss Sue has been working with children and families for over 35 years. She has an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She relocated to Vermont and joined the Children Unlimited family in 2017. She lives with her partner, Peter. Together, they have 6 grown children and two grandchildren.
